The ET Method

How Every Tarp Is Secured

Five engineered details that make our zero-penetration system hold through Florida storm cells.

  • Zip-Ties at Eave Grommets

Heavy-duty black zip ties thread through every bottom-edge grommet and cinch around each sandbag neck — gutters stay untouched.

  • Rope Tension on Rakes & Ridge

Continuous 3/8" braided rope weaves through every grommet on the rakes and ridge, looping the center of each sandbag.

  • Sandbag at Every Grommet

    30-50 lb sandbags spaced 18-24" apart — perimeter-to-perimeter — for true zero-penetration hold-down.

  • X-Rope Wind Brace

Two diagonal 3/8" ropes form an X across the tarp face, shutting down wind uplift across the entire span.

  • 3-5 ft Ridge Overlap

Tarp drapes 3-5 feet over every hip & ridge with a sandbag row on top — no seam exposed to driving rain.

The Problem

Why Most Tarp Jobs Fail

Nail-Based Installs Damage Your Roof

Every nail puts new holes through your roof — creating future leaks and giving insurers reason to deny related claims.

Cheap Tarps Blow Off in the Next Storm

Poorly secured tarps fail in Florida winds, leaving your home exposed when the next squall hits.

Bad Mitigation = Denied or Delayed Claims

Improper emergency mitigation is one of the top reasons insurance carriers reduce or deny storm claims.

Patent Pending

Our Non-Invasive Emergency Tarp System

We don't put a single nail in your roof. Our patent-pending system uses an engineered framing structure secured with sandbags — protecting your roof while it protects your home.

  • Zero roof penetration — no nails, no new holes
  • Engineered sandbag + framing securement system
  • Dramatically reduces liability and prevents added damage
  • Built to support clean insurance claim documentation

"Daniel Maestre took such good care of me. In the midst of Milton damage and bigger jobs, he took the time to do my little mobile home. Contacted me every day to let me know he was working me into the schedule, which gave me great peace of mind. The workers were friendly and skilled. The cost was very fair. I was able to relax knowing the roof was professionally tarped. UPDATE Jan 2025: we had 3 days of rain and ended up with 2 leaks in my hall ceiling. Daniel addressed it quickly — they got all the pooled water off the roof and overlapped a new tarp where it leaked. I was told I'd get one free patch and he was true to his word."

"When Hurricane Milton came through Florida, our roof-over was severely damaged. Daniel came out very promptly and gave us an estimate. The blue tarp organization happened to get to us first, and even though we didn't have to use Daniel's company, he graciously returned our deposit. He's one of the most ethical people I've done business with in a long time. It's rare to find anyone with such high standards and I highly recommend him!"

"If I could give a rating above 5 stars I would not hesitate. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Daniel and his crew have done over 30 services without payment over the past 2 years while we wait for State Farm to honor our homeowner policy. Daniel has been the only person constantly available during this insurance nightmare. Every time a new leak appeared, he placed new tarps. Our roof is completely tarped now. Thank you, Daniel, for being a man of your word."

"Daniel provided emergency mitigation services within a one hour timeframe of my husband contacting Emergency Tarps On Time. The day before a tropical depression, a tree from the neighbor's yard fell into our roof — they were the only company locally that answered their phone on a Sunday night at 10 PM after we contacted over six different companies that went straight to voicemail despite claiming they were 24/7/365. They arrived the following morning at 11 AM to provide the emergency tarping."

"Daniel Maestre handled my issues with utmost professionalism. He was extremely responsive to my concerns from the start. He showed up 10 minutes early as well as a text that he'd be arriving shortly. Unfortunately I've experienced from others, work that took way too long and not done properly. It was refreshing to see that there are still companies that show up ready to do a job. His reply to my thanks: "Ma'am, I value and respect all of my customers." Need I say more!"
